    Academic Bridge is an ACELS/NQAI-approved language and business school in city centre Dublin.

    We provide our students with a rewarding and most satisfying educational and cultural experience in Ireland.

    We provide education courses to EU and International students and have a range of accredited courses in English, Business and Accounting and Finance.

    At Academic Bridge our policy is to ensure that our students will receive the highest quality language training. As we are a small school with a professional service and a student friendly attitude, we can deal quickly and efficiently with any requests or problems strudents may have. You are sure of a very warm welcome at Academic Bridge. We offer students a friendly, personal service. We promise our students small classes of no more than 10 per class.


    The open door policy we operate allows students to speak to our staff at any time .Our helpful staff and dynamic team of highly experienced and ACELS qualified teachers provide individual attention. We pay the utmost attention to the importance of feedback to our students about their learner needs, problems with host families, social activities.

    Ireland for many years is a wonderful and attractive destination for students and its reputation for providing good quality programmes in a friendly ‘Irish’ environment has brought students of all ages and nationalities to our “fair isles”.

    As we are a small English Language School well located in Dublin City Centre we can provide a personal service from all our staff and teachers.

    You will get the opportunity to meet other students from different countries who are living, working and studying English part-time.

    Accreditations

    ACELS

    The Accreditation and Co-ordination of English Language Services (ACELS) was established in 1969 under the auspices of the Irish Department of Education & Science to control standards in EFL schools and organisations through an inspection/recognition scheme. ACELS administers the scheme which leads to School Recognition by the Department of Education & Science. The list of recognised ELT organisations is published on an annual basis - please follow the link on the left for The Official List of Schools and Organisations Recognised by the Department of Education & Science 2009, which includes the schools' contact details.

    ACELS' remit also includes recognition of teacher training (TEFL) courses and the development of materials and examinations for overseas students.     EDI

    Education Development International plc (EDI) is a leading provider of education and training qualifications and assessment services.

    In the UK EDI is accredited by the Government to award a wide range of vocational qualifications, including Apprenticeships and Diplomas.     ICM

    The Institute of Commercial Management.

    Supporting career and personal development as well as mobility, the Institute’s educational programmes and qualifying examinations provide recognised qualifications for commercial management and business development staff working in many industry sectors.

    Membership is open to those who complete the relevant degree level qualifying examinations.

    The Institute is also a recognised international examining and awarding body for students undertaking general business and management studies and examines and certifies candidates to an internationally consistent standard.

    NQAI

    NQAI - National Qualifications Authority of Ireland

    The National Qualifications Authority of Ireland is an agency of the Department of Education and Skills and the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Innovation and was set up in February 2001. It has responsibility for developing and maintaining the National Framework of Qualifications and has three principal objects :

    • the establishment and maintenance of a framework of qualifications for the development, recognition and award of qualifications based on standards of knowledge, skill or competence to be acquired by learners
    • the establishment and promotion of the maintenance and improvement of the standards of awards of the further and higher education and training sector, other than in the existing universities.
    • the promotion and facilitation of access, transfer and progression throughout the span of education and training provision.
